Operational Updates

Hospitality Information (HI) DESK Fall Holiday Hours

• Office hours have been updated to accommodate the fall holiday.

  • 8AM - 9PM   Monday & Tuesday

    • November 25th & 26th

  • 8am - 4pm   Wednesday 

    • November 27 

  • CLOSED   Thursday thru Saturday

    • November 28th, 29th, 30th

  • 8am - 4pm  Sunday 

    • Dec 1st - Regular Hours Resume

• Metal lockers possessing the "Student Locker" flyer haves been designated as storage for student staff bags, backpacks and other personal belongings.

• ID Encoding has commenced at both HI Desk locations : Pepper Canyon West and Eighth

  • Follow the ID Encoding instructions printed at the desk or review with a FTE.

• Winter Quarter 2025 - Schedule

Pepper Canyon West

• Pepper Canyon West Hospitality Information Desk has begun encoding student resident ID cards.

  • PCW Res Life will eliminate the 6-digit lobby pins for both Rya and Vela building on Wednesday 12/11.

• Unlocking the Office - The keycard and lockbox used for unlocking the office door will be removed on Tuesday, December 3rd.

  • Please ensure you have access to the side door using your student ID to tap, and inputting your four digit pin.

  • If you are still experiencing issues accessing the HI Desk with your ID, reach out to Christopher ASAP.

Eighth College

• ID encoding is still in progress. Date for PIN expiry to be narrowed down soon.

  • Continue to note which doors residents lose access to on the google spreadsheet here.

• Please keep key boxes and safe secured when not in use

• All student staff should have access into the HI Desk from the exterior
